Acupuncture.
Gentle, precise needling that can help ease pain and tension and support the way your body settles and recovers.
How It Works
Acupuncture uses very fine needles placed at specific points on the body. For many people it helps ease pain and muscle tension and brings a sense of calm. Each session is tailored to your symptoms and what you’re hoping to get out of it.
What a session looks like
- A calm, quiet space to help you unwind
- An in-depth intake to understand your symptoms
- Optional pulse and tongue assessment
- Gentle, nearly painless insertion of ultra-fine needles
- A rest period with warmth or quiet
- A recap and a few simple things to try at home
Reasons people come in
- Neck, shoulder, and back pain
- Tension headaches and migraines
- Sciatica and nerve-related pain
- Joint pain, including arthritis and repetitive strain
- Stress, low mood, and trouble sleeping
- Fatigue, and recovery after injury or surgery
Working alongside your care
If you’re on medication, recovering from an injury, or managing an ongoing condition, I’ll adapt the approach and coordinate with the rest of your care so everything works together safely.
What to expect
Most people feel relaxed during and after a session, and many notice their pain and tension ease over a course of treatments. Responses vary from person to person, so we’ll track how you’re doing and adjust as we go.
From me to you
Acupuncture doesn’t have to be intimidating. I’ll talk you through each step, explain what I’m doing and why, and go at your pace. — Dr. Kyle
